What is the "Google sandbox effect"? Can it be avoided?

The Sandbox effect is when a site is new in google that has to wait for a while in order to start ranking in the google se. Google will crawl and index your site, but you have to wait for about 3 months in order to start ranking for your keywords. The best way to get out is to build links to your site!

The Sandbox Effect is the theory that websites with newly-registered domains (or with pages yet to receive a PageRank calculation) are placed in a sandbox (holding area) in the indexes of Google until actual ranking is counted by google. So, just wait for few days, your site will be out of sandbox.


There are many different opinions about it, including the view that the Sandbox Effect doesn't actually exist, Sandbox Effect are disputed by webmasters, there is general agreement that the Sandbox only applies to search results from Google, and that results from other search engines such as Yahoo or MSN are not affected
