Search engine robots crawl these blogs more often than websites. Your blog can boost your main site’s rankings if set up properly.

Social networking sites are as much SEO friendly as blogs. Sites such as Facebook give many options to promote your website and allow you to create groups and find people of a particular area with the same interest.

Twitter on the other hand allows you to update it with the latest happenings. You can be followed by people if you have interesting tweets and stay up to date and interact with people with the same ideas.
