Nice information you got there. Thanks for sharing. I just notice that most of the stuff that you have mentioned are black hat SEO techniques which would not just hurt your ranking but it would get your site banned and penalize by search engines.

I think "Duplicate Content" can hurt your rankings a lot... After the Google Panda, lots of website rankings are going down from 5 to 0 and even "unranked". This all happens if SE sees your content as a duplicate one...

I think the basic things now nobody applies. This is very old technique to use. You must try something new like do white hat technique.
