Why do people use Twitter?

The only reason we need Twitter is to make more money right here right now. In a few months it will start fade out just like MySpace did, just like Facebook did, etc.
Oh, what am I saying. Twitter is already fading out - 60% of new users drop it the next month.

Twitter is best web site of the social networking. There are many feature of this site so many people attract.
People want attention, and posting everything they're doing will give them that. They may also be looking for people to comment on it, so they look popular. My brother does this all the time, and tells everyone how many friends he has, but he actually doesn't know most of them.
