Posting Link on Dofollow forums

Post by jelo »

Hi everyone,

When creating backlinks to your site do you need to stick only with sites that are related to your blog.

For example, I have a hip-hop new site, is it not good thing to create a backlink from a travel site??

I think its good to submit in your niche, mostly readers find to read some interested and related to their view from the links of our site.

I've read somewhere that posting in your niche will give you more PR juice. Although I have yet to see an official statement about it.

But even if it's not on your niche, it can be helpful as well if you're going to post helpful information. Like in your case, you can post in travel forums and be really helpful. I'm sure there will be some posters who are interested in hiphop who will see your post and will check your link out.

You should find a related link for your site because it will improve your site PR and rankings.

Every link is better than no link. However, link from related website has MUCH higher value.

I think that present day forums have various sections so you will definitely find some topics that you are interested in and where you can leave a backlink.

Links from related sites will give good effect to your site into search engines.

Links from unrelated dofollow sites will help in getting dofollow backlinks but links on your niche sites will give good effect
