Search engines vary more than most people think. Each one a unique index pages and the relevance of different algorithms. As a result, often with the same keywords on different search engines to get very different results. Your "favorite" stop beating off, and another engine to try you can not find what you need.

There are some search engines that will try and blend a variety of results onto one page for you - websites, news, video, images and so on. Good for an overall view of a subject area. Unfortunately there are not very many of them!
