Go to the category you are trying to get listed in and go to the bottom of the page, there you will find the category editors , click on their name to bring up another page which you can email them.
Good luck i followed all the suggestions for getting listed and still never got anywhere.
I think i am close to getting listed, they replied to request but could not find my address,
it was on there. they left reply link so i replied and let them know where it was so i may get lucky.
I submitted my website last August with 55 pages of useful information on different gardening tools and still nothing yet other sites in the same section have a single page advertising their own product and are listed. Wish Google would lower the importance of Dmoz so we did not have to waste time on them.
Have to agree with what Matt777 said, I have a site with 55 pages of information on gardening tools and submitted it to Dmoz with no luck over a year ago. When I looked at the other sites in the same category I found that some of them just have a 1 page website advertising a product they sell. so I do not bother to submit anymore.
I applied to be an editor for my category I submitted my link to thinking it would speed up the process, but was denied pretty quickly and haven't heard back yet for my second attempt. It's been a few days, hopefully I hear back soon.
to be added in dmoz is kinda difficult. since dmoz manually checked and approved inclusion of a certain website. what you need to do is to wait for several months before your site will included. actually you should add your site once only.
the most powerful tool to make it is to patiently wait.
