PR now is not that important now. The most important is Back link.... Get your site listed in more directory. This will gain backlink and also PR ...

First, check what your current PR is...download google's toolbar..it will show you your page rank. Next, visit some of your competors site and check out their rank. Those that have a high rank follow their trail to see if you can determine why they have a high PR.

All you do is find sites to post your articles on that do a good job of directing pagerank (PR) to their articles pages. Sadly many do not. Others may but they don’t include that coveted live link from your article.

This just means you’ll have to look a little harder. Since the crown jewel in your search for sites to submit articles to is to find those with other articles that show lives links.

backlinks are important for Google, but not too important at yahoo. Generally Google should bring you more traffic, but yahoo isn't too bad either.

If yahoo likes your site better, sometimes it is not a bad idea to do SEO for yahoo instead of Google.
