Right way to achieve link popularity

Can you tell me about the methods that can help me in popularizing my link.
I did all sort of forum submission, directory submission but I am not able to generate huge number of links for my website.
You can not say that the content on the site is obsolete or is not popular. then I don,t know why I am not getting link backs to my website.
Can you tell about websites tha can send 50 or 60 of unique visitors daily to my website?

I've tested a variety of methods in the last 30 days...strangely
the one method that got me a lot more links has been blog commenting..
some blogs will have a 'recent comments' section on the side which will
syndicate on their entire blog...thus, your one comment MAY appear on
3 or 4 hundred pages if done right...

If you want to get visitor to your site, I suggest that you create fresh content or create content that makes it interesting or informative. Participate in forums and ask opinion from other. Try to create a blogs , create content that is related to your main site and submit it to social media site. Submit it to directories or reciprocal link site with high traffic.If you want to got large number of visitor try the pay per click (PPC) technique.

I sometime think MOST of the blogs use rel-nofollow and they arent doing much for PR. Unless traffic.. they are the best too, but for better SERP, I think beside traffic, we need good PR too..

You can sometimes find places that will do a large number of directory submissions for you, for a nominal fee.

That is better than trying to do them by hand. That takes too long to be worth it.

You are right but i have seen a site which have lower PR is display before a site which have high PR.Then you tell me that which is more important.
