You can use 5 subdomains with a single domain. This is the minimum facitily available in almost all Domain packages.

For some free hostings, like blogger and wordpress, they allow you to use your own domain instead of using their subdomain. You'll just need to set the nameserver on your domain management.

I also recommend this cheap web hosting company. They have some low-cost packages with exciting features. Just check my signature.

Yes off course! you can change your sub domains.
When I opened my Freshbooks account I had just left a partnership operating under a company name. Now, I have started a new company and all of my old clients are coming with me. It's easy enough to simply change the name of my company under Settings -> Edit Company Profile, but I can't find any way to change the subdomain where my clients will sign in to view/pay invoices. If I can't change this, then I think I'm going to have to start all over (open a new account) which would be a HUGE PAIN because I have a bunch of projects/tasks/clients already setup properly. However I can't keep sending my clients to the old domain (unprofessional) and I really don't want to invest even more work into setting things up if this is a dead end road in this regard.

So ... if the subdomain can be changed, please let me know how.

If there's any worry that the old invoices shouldn't be under the new company ... don't worry. All of these invoices SHOULD be under my new company name since I was already operating as an independent consultant and should have change my business name immediately, but it took me some time to decide on a name and to get everything set up.

Thanks,
