All SEO people are daily struggling hard to put their website URL to hundreds of search engine directories manually or automatically. Why search engine submission is necessary?

I still think that Google has the best quality searches. It uses a lot more information than just scanning the page for strings of text.

Just keep on link building. I think what you are doing is right to be index by google. And you can do more on forum posting, and classified ad posting.

Having a high rank in yahoo really takes time. Based on my experience, content weighs heavier on their search results. Anyway, huge traffic still come from the big G.
