Hi everybody.

I was wondering if someone is interesting to exchange link with my shopping related site http://www.supremedeal.com. Major keywords are: coupons, discounts, promotions, hot deals, etc.

Hi johno123,

The simplest link exchange works this way (that's what we call reciprocal links) - you place my site link into your site, and I post your link into my site, so we exchange links.

The only requirement is - our sites have to be relevant. Another words if my site is a shopping related, let say with the major keywords: coupons, discounts, hot deals, travel, best deals, best deal, savenow, sale, babies & kids, clothing, skin care, plus size, intimate apparel, underwear, save money, jewelry, flowers & gifts, furniture (that's what I have in my meta tag "keywords"). I expect your site has relation to "shopping", preferably with some of keywords that I have in my site.

Why it's so important to be relevant when the sites exchanging links?
Because all search engines are working with the main idea to create the most convenient environment for the internet visitors, so the search engines give to the relevant links better priority and the better ranking to those sites.

Johno123, I checked your site, it's currently have PR0. I would like to exchange link with the sites at least PR3 and higher.

It doesn't mean you cannot raise your site PR, it simply takes some time to do that, and of course some efforts to improve it. I saw your site is not optimized yet. It has to be otimized if you want to have better ranking.

Hi johno123,

I see you've made some changes using submitexpress analyzer. That's good. And I will be honest with you, your site looks very attractive to me!

The only thing I would suggest to proceed with optimization. And I will shortly explain you why.

1. Ususally to make HTML page validated it's suggested to apply the first line of your code as the following:

Then goes:

information about the robots, meta http-equiv, <style type="text/css">, etc.

I believe, it's important to keep the upper portion of the html code in sequence. I don't know how important it is, but I would put it that way.

2. I would also changed your "charset=windows-1252" to "charset=iso-8859-1". (Please read about different charsets)

3. If you look at the results of submitexpress analizing, you will notice, "Found no robots meta tag". This tag is not really required but helps spiders to index the web page.

So, I would suggest to put somewhere below <meta name="keywords" something like that:

4. Now about one of the most important parts:
Why do you use your major (as of my understanding) Title words "Paperless Bookstore" only one time in your page content, and placed them on the bottom of the page. If they are so important to you, I think you have to use them more frequently in your content as a text (not as image) and locate them as much as possible to the top of your page. The spider will recognize importance of those word. If they are not important to you, then try to use in your Title the other words with the bigger importance. The same is with your Title word "RESELL", etc.

Basically what I'm saying is:
Try to place your the most important words as high as possible to the top of your page content.

5. Now about keywords density:

According the keywords density analyzing tools, I've noticed you are using, for example, the word "article" 47 times (in all body words). The word "articles" you are using 35 times (in all body words). And I even didn't find them in your site Title, Description and keyword meta tags. I don't know why, but if such words are important to you then I would suggest to put them in Title, Description and keyword meta tags.

Another words, try to use keywords density analyzing tools to see how your site looks like in terms of keyword density.

6. And please, don't forget about good quality backlinks, they have the BIGGEST importance to the search engines rankings and site PR.

Hey there johno123,

Take a look at your source code and see how you messed up your Title and check the rest of the meta tags.

Your Title now is as following:
-----------------------------------------------------
<title><?=$aset[SiteName]?></title>

Of course you have your title relevancy 0%, please make a change of your title.

I also didn't notice that you changed your "charset" to charset=iso-8859-1
It still listed the CONTENT="charset=windows-1252"

Also it would be better, I think, if you change a sequence of your metatags.

Talking about backlinks, keep doing that, but please don't forget, your backlinks have to be good quality relevant links, otherwise they will not benefit you so much. Also keep in mind, if you get too many backlinks per day, then search engines might consider you are using a link farm, which they don't like. So, try to make not huge number of backlinks per day.

I don't say that will be a big difference in your website rating if you put them different way, but as far as I know, the sequense is important. It doesn't require big efforts from you to put it the right way, so it's up to you.
