I recently made a blog anmed as http://journeyofindianhistory.blogspot.com but not getting enough traffic.How can i improve?

You can promote it by doing the social bookmarking submission or participating social networks..

Find your target Audience and choose good domain name (Flexible Niche)
Interesting title (post)
attention grabbing content (post)
leave a few things out(post)
put relevant tags (use high PR tags)like- http://en.wordpress.com/tag/technology/
social networking , participate in other people conversation.
Blog commenting, after comment Put your Name and link. Like Jessica last blog http://careeradviceandsearch.blogspot.com/
Social Bookmarking and get links from other blogger.
Add signature to your outgoing email .
List your site on blog indexes, search engine, directories,.Participate in forums

You can submit it in stumbleupon, Digg, reditt, and other social bookmarking site for you to have traffics in your blog.

Start to do blog postin og your blog.
Start to do social bookmarking and forum posting of ur blog.
It surely icress traffic on ur blog.

My suggestion here is that you have to post quality contents and you have to get your site known all over the world by quality link building such as submitting to directories, article submissions, social bookmarking and social networking, as well as actively participating in forums with a signature link to your site.
