Using KW in domain name is a great idea. I do it, and it has helped with my SEO campaigns.

URL or domain name doesn't really have any real SEO benefits. It boils down to linkbuilding. Whatever URL you choose, your ranking only depends on the quality links you build for your site.
Keyword on domain name is worth in initial time of your site but worth less and less across domain age. Domain age high -> keyword on domain worth less

I've found that all the times I use exact match domains I rank quickly and well, those times I didn't, not so good. Might be coincidence, the debate continues.

When visitors search information on google search engine then its spiders starts searching relevant information from URL, title tags, keywords, meta description and then come on written content of sites or blogs. Therefore using keywords in URL is beneficial for better SERP.
