IMO “ Content is king and links are Queens ” for SEO.
Trace for what you are lacking behind and start improving it…..
Optimize your website for your keywords, if possible try to use less competitive words it will help you to get index faster.

I am not sure whether these will help, but it is worth considering.

1. Free tools by submitexpress: Meta Tags Analyzer. Try your best to reach 100% for Titles Description and Keywords.

2. Use Google base to advertise your website

3. Implement Google Adsense search on your website

4. Use Google Analytics to monitor your web traffic. There is also a Google webmaster tools where you can submit your sitemap.

5. Create a Blog account at blogger.com and create a link to your website. May need some laborous work to beef up your Blog content.

6. Submit your url to DMOZ and other free Directories. DMOZ is now under some maintenance work, have to wait.

7. Try to further improve your page ratings for Yahoo and MSN. Somehow, I just think that it will be helpful.

I think one of the keys to success with search engines is patience, I have another site which has taken off considerably but my Chatroom is very slow, but then so long as you follow the correct steps you will be listed.

You should get listed in directories as well this can really help!
