hello, and a very happy christmas to everyone,

does anyone know, when posting in a forum, how long would it be before google index it, that is providing it shows at all?

It depends on how often the GoogleBot spiders that forum, which is basically based on its popularity. If you´re posting in a popular forum it should take less than 20 days.

IMO, your forum should have backlinks from other quality forums and relevent site, there should be heavy traffic on your forum and content should be added/updated regularly so that spiders will be attracted and will crawl your forum regularly for indexing.
I would suggest you to submit XML sitemap of your forum so that spiders will find it easy for crawling.

It only takes less than 15 days for google crwals to come back to your forum if its quite popular
