Why so many visitors from India, Israel and others?

Recently I was looking at some very high ranked web sites. They all have high PR and they come up high on the search results.

When I looked in to the Alexa to see where their major traffic is coming from I realized that they they get tremendous amount of traffic from India, Israel, China and some other countries besides the US and Canada.

I know the sites belong to US based companies and they only target to US and Canada visitors so what is the reason for this very high traffic spike from other countries? Is there some sort of strategy to generate traffic to get higher PR or better search result placement?

This might be because most of the SEO work is outsourced to countries like India and China, therefore more people from these countries deal in SEO Business which increase the number of traffic from these two countries.

Only huge volume of traffic will not affect your business through website, you need to have a potential traffic which has a good conversion rate.

Well, nothing strange as uch more people live in these countries than in the whole world together (I'm a bit exaggerating).

Thanks for the feedback. I know it's normal to receive a certain amount of traffic from other countries besides the one you target but I thought the numbers were too high.

Are there overseas companies that offer pay-per-clicks to increase ranking on search engine results?

For it's strange as well. If we speak about China, it's OK, but Israel, many because the best SEO experts come from there.

maybe you are submitting your site on the wrong place focus on your target market by checking where it is hosted.

As I observe and seen in the internet world, there are many Indians trying to excel in internet jobs and SEO ( and how do you think some of them?), they are noticeable in this forum too. I think India and other countries you've mentioned populate the internet world, and they see your site through searches in google.com and google domain on their country.

Thanks for all the feedback. I thought there was some type of a service you can but from these overseas countries that in return they sell you millions of clicks on your search results to improve ranking. Is there such service?
