If properly planned, SEO techniques are really helpful to bring a website on top of SERP. Basics of SEO is the practice of optimizing a website by promoting and improving its position in organic search rankings on major search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing.

SEO Tips:

1.Write high quality content for better rankings.
2.Try to keep focus on one topic per page. It means target one topic in one page.
3.Get started by researching your target audience with target keywords.
4.Once you have got your keyword research done, start immediately working on that , until it gets done.

You shouldn't jump into optimizing your website if you aren't patient enough. The results of the SEO will not come instantly and you will have to work hard in order to see the effects.

If you want to have faster effects you will need to work very hard and you will need to spend hours on SEO.

Why that much? SEO requires time because you need to add only and only quality and unique content to the site. Some copy/pasted <better-not-say> from other blogs will just hurt your ranking and search engines will consider your website non-quality => your ranking will be poor. Spend time on writing quality articles and add this kind of content often. (especially if you want to optimize a blog). You will need to spend very much time on link building because it is important too.
