Hi to all,

I listen that Keywords Meta tags are not useful in seo, Google crawler does not consider Keyword Meta tag. So why we use keyword meta tags in SEO?

If google does not consider keyword meta tag then other search engines like yahoo and bing consider keyword meta tags or not.

Please share your views on Keywords Meta tags????

Keywords Meta Tags might still be used my other search engines for indexing. No harm in adding that coz SE algos change from time to time.

If your competitors have these tags, then you'd better have these tags too... but don't use your target keywords in these tags or your competitors will have a good idea on the keywords you are aiming for.

Two-word keywords are OK.

Not true. Spiders index and crawl meta tags to know what your website is all about, what's not good is keyword stuffing

There are several plugins that are specialized to refer to, for example, all in one SEO Pack and include both meta tag description and keywords but MistyLook made these two tags, so if the user does not delete manually, cloud duplicate.

i think these are some partial info's that can help you. but if there are corrections try to search for more info on search engines on how to rank in different search engines.

-for Google rankings you must have quality back-links, more back-links means higher rankings
-Yahoo concerns ranks by density or keyword density, the more density you have the higher ranks you get
-bing is almost the same with google
-alexa search engine concerns with traffic, the more traffic you have the higher ranks
