There is no restriction on submitting the same article with number of article directories. All directory site doesn't accept the same article so no need to worry for duplicate content.

Single article submit to many article sites. your articles status if it's accepted or not. Submission once approve you can recycle it and used that approve article for promotion.

You should try to submit different articles on every site. Try to rewrite the one article you want to submit to article websites. Avoid using duplicate content.
