I mean how BIG is FACEBOOK!? Google have openly admited they are 'scared' of facebook (crazy)

Content is king so the more your unique is, the more that it will be digged by others. Just be patient because there are really instances that your post will be overlooked by others due to many competitor post but if there are chances that your post will be given a break and it will be seen by some visitors on digg and to the many people searching for that particular information that you can only provide.
