Search Engine Algorithms are very powerful and they can find Black Hat promotions like keyword stuffing etc, and once it happens the site which's been used black hat will be penalized and some times will be banned for life time also.

Black Hat search engine optimization is customarily defined as techniques that are used to get higher search rankings in an unethical manner. These black hat SEO techniques usually include one or more of the following characteristics:

* breaks search engine rules and regulations
* creates a poor user experience directly because of the black hat SEO techniques utilized on the Web site
* unethically presents content in a different visual or non-visual way to search engine spiders and search engine users.

Black Hat don't follow rules and regulations. They uses unethical ways just to get back links. Cloaking, door-way pages, hidden text, keyword stuffing, improper redirects, spamming, and Link farms are some of the methods that falls under black hat SEO.

Black hat fast results

Post by Keith Firestone »

The problem with black hat SEO is that it gives almost instant results and that is usually enough for shop sites during the season. If they ever got banned, next season they would simply use the same template on another domain and just use the same techniques which gives them enough time to sell and make money. That pattern they can repeat each year. They shouldn't be worried about getting on a black list or so.

If you keep playing with fire, you'll definitely burn. A big NO to black hat and yes to fair play.

Black hat can give you instant benefits, and it can also lead to your instant downfall. Want to do black hat? You can do it, but be also prepared for the consequences that it would give.

First, you are talking about hidden text. I do not understand. If some text is hidden, but its visible crawler. After all tracks will be read. How it will affect the site (such as the black hat is a bad technology). The second keyword stuffing (using as many keywords), how it will affect. Common sense says, if your site has multiple keywords with your site, more will be familiar with the search engines.

I always choose following White hat methods.Since ethical way of getting the rankings is more permanent as well as black cat techniques can only provide temporary rankings.
