Will such lnks get crawled

hey guys i am doing seo for my blog http://design.pixelgroups.com

sorry i am posting two links but it is necessary.

now during link exchange one site posted my link on a page from which it goes to another link and there on that page is a javascript which opens up my page.

so i am worried that will the link be useful cause i heard java scripts are not crawled by google.

the link where my blog's link is pasted is:

and the description is:
Web Design And Graphic Design - This blog is about designing and i will try to post useful information about designing and related topics. So keep waiting for the updates designers.The content here are mostly taken from sites which I think are important. Few are mine.

Even I have heard that javascript hyperlinks are not crawled by Google but my own experience saying something else. I have had only JS hyperlinks on my website. There was no other way of going to the deep inside pages other than these JS links. I didn't have site map then. Still I could found most of my pages indexed in Google. This simply indicates that Google is capable of moving through JS links.

But still I will recommend to use simple text hyperlinks or any other simple way of linking.

i have always been told link farms were bad for seo.
don't know if it's true or not, but i am staying away from them.

I never exchange links when I get any kind of script-called back links. It is possible, as Mandar says that SEs read them, however I prefer to stay away from such links and swap only html links same as I give...

Some bots will report back how easy it was to crawl your site and your links. The easier, the better you will score in that department. They are capable of crawling JS links, but it may or may not affect your PR because its not as SE friendly as it could be.
