Can my ranking imporve if I subbmit my site to 75,000 search engines+ directories?

There is a lot more to ranking improvement other than submission to the search engines and directories. If you have a new domain or site you may want to initially submit one or two times, but these days you do not even need to submit in order to have the engines find you.

Search engines can find sites many other ways including through inbound links, directory listings and search engine meta crawlers who scour the Net in attempt to find new content and pages to index.

A website map would also be a good idea if you are attempting to have engines find your pages faster and more efficiently. If you have a dynamic site or one with long url strings you may want to try Google sitemaps program.

Before the submission process I would recommed a few on-site and on-page adjustments that may aid in your ranking goals. You will want to create unique page titles and meta descriptions for each page. Make sure the text on the page matches the words in your title and description. Make the website with clean navigation and functionality so users and SE crawlers can find your content with ease.

Once this process is under way I would start to think about some sort of link building strategy or campaign to build up related or relevant inbound links to the sites pages. Start submitting to niche or related directories. Careful not to build links too swiftly or from "bad neighborhoods."

There is a lot to consider when begining an SEO strategy or campaign. For some it is harder than others since all sites are different and most SE algorithms vary in what to look for. It may be worth your while to hire a professional to accomplish some of the more difficult time consuming tasks. Also, target search engines and phrases specific to your country. They do have Google.es you know? Keep creating content and you will find the engines finding you more often. When these steps are in sync you will see improved search engine ranking and higher amounts of hits and visitors.

Submitting a site to SE and directories will not do it, you need to do all other link building activities also.
