Any SEO benefit of a outgoing link?

Post by lapunluyang »

I had a very nice review of my website posted on another website, basically a page article describing the site with a link back to me, which is all very good of course.
Is there any benefit SEO wise to put a link on a page of my site to that article? it would be good for members to view of course but for SEO purposes is it leaking away PR?

Through outgoing links you can get your targeted audiences. It also gives you a bright idea about your site to search engines because of the relevant links. The best way to get in touch with other sites is to have the same niche. But always avoid too many outbound links because it might give a negative impact to your site.

Google does not want to stop people from linking to other sites and making references. There are many sites that reference to other sites that are well position in the SERPs, for example how about this forum, or Wikipedia!

I would advise just make sure the site you are linking to has not been banned by Google!

The whole point about Page Rank and link juice is to let Google know which sites you think are of high value. Google actually wants you to do this, as this is how the search engine actually works!

Thanks..
