Re: Link Wheel
A link wheel is a series of independent, unique web properties, ideally with a high PageRank and degree of authority, which link back to your site. When building a link wheel, the links should be one-way and not two-way links. You can link a blog you have written to your site as well as to an article but don't link them back to your blog. You can build either a single or link wheel, or multiple link wheels and connect them together.

This is one of the most imaginative ways of using web 2.0 web sites. The power comes with from a extremely focused group of web sites, with high Page Ranks, all focusing on your site. The purpose is to focus an extensive amount of authority on one keyword phrase at a time - to push that phrase up in the search engines.

Link wheel is one way building backlinks. Its like your creating a wheel of web 2.0 site and the links coming from these sites are directing to your site. Google didn't like it because you are trying to manipulate your site PR.
