Yes, getting a PR0 for a new site is NORMAL. It's an initial parameter that indicates that Google is giving value to the page/site. You need more quality backlinks to improve your pagerank.

You need to establish good backlinks through submissions or promotions.

It is a very normal situation for a new website... have you checked your indexing as well?

It is normal for a new site to have a PR 0. Also if a site have any PR rating including 0, then this site is not banned by google.

thats normal, don't base your site's success in PR base it on the revenue it gives you.

It's absolutely normal. So go focus on building both your reputation and revenue.

First thing - don't worry about Page Rank. It doesn't matter. I have seen PR going down while traffic went up. What would you rather have? A website with PR0 and thousands of visitors each day or PR8 and 10 visitors per day?

Every new web site starts with PR0. I was working on building links for a new website. It took 5 months until the PR went up. And it went up from 0 to 5. So, don't worry about PR0. Just do what's important and have faith that PR will go up eventually.

Yes it is normal having a PR0 for new sites, that's why you have to build links for your site's PR to increase.
