Re: Bounce Rate?
Bounce Rate indicates how quick visitors go out to your websites. If bounce rate is high means visitors are not spending more time on sites. Therefore it should be less as much as possible.

Re: Bounce Rate?
Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. By visiting this metric to measure quality - a high bounce rate generally indicates that the entry points are not relevant to the website for your visitors. The more compelling your landing pages, the more visitors will stay on your site and convert. You can reduce bounce rates by minimizing your landing pages to each keyword and ad that you are running.

Re: Bounce Rate?
Higher Bounce Rates is said to have negative effects in your websites stats and Lower Bounce Rates tend to have good standings. In my opinion, not all high bounce rates have negative effect to your website. It might just be a good thing for your website. It affects greatly in what type of website is your site.
Let's say if your website is a portal site you tend to have higher bounce rates rather than lower. Why? Because your site is portal, visitors try to visit you because of the list of website you offer. Let's say Directory Lists then to have higher bounce rates because users visit them and click a certain link. Although, certain things might be considered like for example, people use 'open link in new tab or new window'.
But if you're website or blog is more on contents like articles, blog posts and etc. Then you should have Lower Bounce Rates. Higher Bounce Rates will hint you that visitors isn't interested in your posts or your content.

Re: Bounce Rate?
What’s helped me the most in improving my bounce rate would have to be a better blog design. When better designs/themes are put into place, there’s instant trust that develops between writer and reader. It’s amazing what a dash of paint can do

Re: Bounce Rate?
It basically tells you what percentage of your visitors are “bouncing” away after landing on your site (e.g., they just visit one page and leave before clicking on to a second page inside your site). A bounce can occur for several reasons, including:
* The visitor hit the “Back” button on his browser.
* The visitor closed his browser.
* The visitor clicked on one of your ads.
* The visitor clicked on one of your external links.
* The visitor used the search box on his browser.
* The visitor typed a new URL on his browser.
All the actions above would cause the visitor to leave your site. Provided he did any of these actions right after arriving at your site (and before clicking on to a second page), it would be counted as a bounce. In fact the formula for finding the bounce rate on your website is:
Bounce rate = Visits that left after one page / Total number of visits
