If I build links pointed to subpages, is it helpful to increase the page rankor quality of our home page?

No it wouldn't. Google treat every pages of your site are separate sites. For instance if one of your sub-pages has a PR4 it wouldn't affect the ranking of your homepage.

You should build links pointed to subpages, it will help to website visitor !!!

With good link navigation for your site, any links from your inner pages should pass PR juice towards other pages, especially to your homepage..
