Thanks for the great book suggestion! It is truly difficult to sift through most of the SEO garbage that is online these days and nice to actually find useful information :) I have also come across an incredible SEO software tool called SEO Elite -- that has been quite beneficial to us in the past years. It may prove helpful to others, especially those new to search engine optimization.

Agreed. SEO book was the best book ive read. I ONLY found it online though.

In order to use even the easiest SEO tools, you have to have an objective. If you dont know what youre going to optimize, the tools dont do much good.

I also got a lot of help out of reading articles on internet marketing, SEO, link building, etc.

Most books on amazon.com SUCK for teaching SEO by the way.

the only concern I have about printed material,
particlarly related to the internet, and worst, internest marketing,
is not so much the $ investment but the potential for poor time managment,

there is no substitue for hands on,
combine that with a few good SEO forums and
some good software line Alexia and IBP combo

and i think you can learn allot more.

but to each his or her own

Just Google some SEO books and study them :-) Or find some good SEO blogs. I often read articles on blogs.

Thanks for sharing the wonderful SEO Book. But in my opinion, the best way to learn the SEO is through self practice. Set up your own site on a free domain(no need to spend money) such as wordpress etc, and do all your experiments on it. You won't lose anything, but gain a lot!
