being listed in DMOZ is only a plus factor. Im not really worried being not listed in DMOZ, You can also some quality backlinks through continued linkbuilding

DMOZ is dying slowly! its getting to many submissions and not getting through enough of them. the problem is that editors are resonsible for a category so if they decide they cant be bothered you havent got a chance of being listed!

Suggest your site to DMOZ and forget it. Don't stuck with ODP because you should go on your way on backlink building. There is a myth about DMOZ, the ODP psychological pressure on people out there. They think they can't succeed without DMOZ... This is not true.

I heard some marketers said,it's been months since they send their site listing but still no confirmation received if approve or not.I guess they need more editors to take care of review more often.

Dmoz is a good site, so it's normal that they want good websites to link to their site.

Not only for dmoz, directory submission always takes a longer time, rather than waiting, we should continue in submitting our sites to various other directories.
