How to reduce the mobile bounce rate?

Post by michaelvk »

Hi,

I am optimizing a mobile website in that I am getting more bounce rates from iPhone, iPad & android. How to reduce it? Also my website having lot of YouTube embedded videos. My doubt is to play those YouTube videos, whether we need YouTube access or it is default one. Please anyone help me to find out the answer.

Thanks,
Michaelvk

Hi there. I think you should check on the loading speed of your site in a browser. Sometimes, users leave the site right away because of the slow loading speed. Also, try to check the content of your site, and the keywords that you use for each of your pages. There are instances that users see a site that are irrelevant to what they are looking for. Use keywords for relevant pages of your site.

Well, try to regularly updates your content for your site. Also, I think your videos are heavy and it takes time load the page and play the video. Try to lessen your video and put only those videos that are related to the keywords.

Re-optimize your website with on page. Try to get why mobile users comes on your website and if they are visiting on your website than why they are bouncing back maximum time???
It is just because they are not getting perfect information on your website what they really wants from your website. I think you should first check title-meta..:)

I suggest you to make your landing page more user friendly. Try to come up with some phrases that would awaken their interest about your site, it can a new promo or new apps, or what's the best service you can provide them.
