Actually, Page Rank is very important to every SEO. Why, If you reach the highest PR for your site it is a great compliment it means your are effective SEO specialist to a site. All the link building and technique that you used are all right and well gain.

Page Rank or PR means the rank on the Google pages of the site that we search, it shows how much our site has got promoted and how much traffic it is attracting.
