as far as i know.. every 3 months.. so you have 3 months to gain relevant IBLs

The only importance of PR is if you are link building. Some sites only accept a PR above "X". The actaul PR means nothing because its what google update to users from their server side.

Say you get a PR of 3 after an update. Then you build enough links for a PR 5, but the PR doesn't come for a while. Your site will still have the popularity of PR5, it just won't say PR5. When the update does come, the update from PR3 to PR5 won't sudednly make your site rank better. It will happen gradually from the last PR. The PR 5 display is the final step in the update.

PR is updates every 3-4 months and roughly four times a year and as far as i have experienced links in google also takes some time to get updated and yahoo. msn are fast as compared to google

Hi,

The last PageRank toolbar update was end of Sep 2008, they are usually every 2-3 months.

The next one will be anytime after the end of Nov 2008.
