How to keep a steady growth in search result numbers

I've been continuously into link building campaign, for the last one and a half month, and successfully able to built more than 80 good links within this period. When check - Google Search shows results of my sites with increased numbers. Then Suddenly I stop my link building campaign for some 2-3 days. I found that my site have lost a few amount of links in the search results.
Can anyone tell me as to what have cause the links I built getting substracted from Google Search Result Numbers...!!!

well can't figure out that, maybe it's just google dance and i don't think stopping for 2-3 days will immediately effect your rankings, just keep it a habbit your link building

Never stop with building and promoting your website. It is good strategy and the result will always come.

Because you started posting links furiously, the search engines will start to see inconsistencies once you stop...

I think it's because of Google dance. Maye you will find backlinks come back again late.

Google does not show all the links established very quickly and also I think adding too many links in a rather short period of time is not a good thing.
