The Google update which affected the keyword ranking of your website is known as Exact-match domain update i.e. EMD update.

Exact-match domains are the sites having the entire keyword as their domain name. For eg if your site is offering iphone developer and your keyword is hire iphone developer and your domain name is "hireiphonedeveloper .com" then your site is said to have exact-match domain.

EMD update was to target these sites with low-qualtiy content.

Solution: Try to develop some quality content for your site and get some natural back links from high-ranked sites.

Google recently change EMD algorithm update,
EMD means you register your site name with exactly keywords that use for optimizing your site.
for example: your business keyword is "Liferay Developers India" and your register your domain with same keyword.
Google penalized these types of EMD website when google change EMD algorithm.
