How can I get links from Google pointing to my site?

Google is just more picki than the other search engines. Their search results look to me more accurate than the other. How do they get such impression? I think it's because they provide their search results first of all based on website's popularity among the other RELEVANT websites (link popularity). Relevancy is very important.

So, it seams to me that would be correct to say, try to get more links from the good quality relevant websites, with as high PR as possible.

I think u can submit article directory forum blog etc. its increase your site link.

Link from Google? Google has not its own directory. It uses DMOZ. So to have a link from Google you should to be listed in the DMOZ.

Do Link exchange and article and directories submisisons for your website then you can get good links for your website.....from google

Accepted by DMOZ means accepted by google.

Or you can send mail to Matt Cutts to ask him for a link from www.google.com. But maybe he won't reply.

Google does not link to website and the adwords are not direct links. The other important links can be obtained through free and paid directories.

I have only 1 link in google but 150 in yahoo? anyone know why?

Just Google show only part of your links. Don't worry. It is common thing for all sites.

Yes google uses DMOZ and i bet its the hardest thing in this world for all the webmasters to get in to DMOZ i am trying from 3 months without any luck .

in the mean time try to submit to lesser known directories

Three months... I know good sites with PR4 that try to get approval at DMOZ for four years!!!

I wonder is it ok to resubmit at DMOZ, like biweekly or monthly, until get listed?

No, the resubmission is a bad thing. One DMOZ editor told me "submit and forget"
