For example you want to buy a mobile you can search with type "latest mobile in Removed_for_spam brand" now this is consider as long tail keyword, you can also search "latest mobile" this is consider short term or short tail keyword. Keyword can be used as short tailed keyword or as a long tail keyword suppose "Global Material" is a keyword then "Global Material Exchange" that means keyword with little explanation can be treated as a long tail of keyword, and just like that "Material" that means a reduction in exact keyword can be treated as short tail keyword, in both case purposes of actual keyword should not be changed.
