Is this a record? Blog got posted in 10 min in Google

I wrote an article on my blog and saved it, when I save the article it pings ping o matic and they ping 16 other sites including Google, technorati etc.

10 minutes later I did a search for the title on Google and it was ranked second on page 1, now it was not an obscure title like these pay to have your keyword on first page on google companies but a title people may actually search for.

"Electronic panic alarms" was the search term.

Can you beat that?

Ive done exactly the same again with another related subject.

This went to number 1 on page 1 in less than half an hour.

Search term this time "Aerosol panic alarms"

there's no doubt in there coz it only have low search results (1,000+-)...

Sounds very interesting, but I would like to see how it will go then with those pingings. Wondering, how will Google treat those artificial technics to increase ranking. I use to know Google likes the natural way of promoting pages, and it never rush with increasing PageRank.

Well you beat me hands down. My best is a few days but then they werent blogs. I find that newly indexed pages have an inflated search rank in the short term. Not sure if others think the same thing. But 10 minutes that sort of puts the theory of hard work and lots of patience to rest.

Yeah, you're right, "google loves new sites", the only think I don't know why it sends the new sites to the sanbox? And usually if you get some credit at the beginning, they wach you closely, how is your site doing and if something even smaller found they put you down. Isn't it true?
