How can I get relavent links without asking my competitors for links?

try watch accessories or other wearable jewelry to exchange with - also you may want to look into targeted directory links (not paid text links) and or blog / forum posting (not spamming) about your products.

Find your competitors web site and ask for link exchange.

-submit in directories
-forum posting
-article submissions
-blog postings

In these you need not ask any competitors for links..

Post to forums related to your site and or blog commenting with high traffic and related to your site i guess is the best options..

Try to post thread at forums for link exchange or do one way like free directory.
