Multiples Sites, but Different Content, Correct?

Post by m38967 »

Hi---

I have a question on whether using the same content across multiples sites i have is good or bad? I think i've read that this is NOT recommended, is that correct?

For example, i have a myspace page, a yahoo 360 page, tagged, a forum, a blog, and more sites.

Let me know.

Don't use same content in multiple sites. You can be penalized for duplicate content.

Make sure however that you link back to all of your other sites within each site. This is free advertisement!

change the wording around abit?

Post by m38967 »

If i place an article for example on myspace, and then also on tagged or xanga, and i just reword the article abit, not the whole thing, it will be ok with the search engines, correct?

thanxs for all the responses.

Its very simple .If there are multiple sites with the same content ....they are likely to get a slap from the search engines because they dont like copied content and among all the websites the site whick is older and has not been updated recently gets on top
