Its not a big deal. Its simple to get listed in google. Place the link in any of the website to which Google has already listed it out. Then your site will be automatically listed within 2 days. Simple!!!!!!!!!!!

Create a RSS feed of your site & submit it into Feedburner.com

Submit to SE? It is not necessary to submit your site to SE.. let Search Engine find your site.. But anyway, if you would still like to still submit it..

Despite of having quality content and good inbound and outbound links most sites do not get indexed according to their potential, coz googlebot dont knows about their site.

You need to tell the crawler that what are the pages it should visit and are a part of your site, for this you need to submit a sitemap. SITEMAP IS A .XML FILE HAVING ALL THE INFO ABOUT YOUR SITE.
