People are dumping his site like crazy now though. Too many spammers hitting it. It was a good idea at first but not anymore. I know tons of people that don't go there anymore.

I just added Google Adsense to one of my sites last week after reading this thread. The site gets around 20,000 unique visitors per month and by the number of clicks so far i will not be retiring any time soon! Still, it looks good on the site when you blend the colours to the AdSense ads and offers some additional resources to the site users.

Just wondering, did you get 20,000 unique visitors per month before you added Google AdSense, or you start getting such amount after AdSense gave you a bust? Did you notice any SERP increase after applying for AdSense, or you keep doing promotion only by yourself?

I have actually seen some decrease in SERPS since adding Google Adsense but maybe this was going to happen anyway. I have now removed ads from the home page of the site in question and will continue to monitor the positions. Has anybody else noticed any changes in results since adding Google Adsense??? Some of my search results are starting to come back, but then, i have made site changes since then . . .

The Check is for real.
I heard about this site. It always has visitors in the range of 3K+.
So it is very natural to have such a cheque from Google.

Well, after a few months the click throughs on the Google Adsense program have been slowly crawling up but i'm nowhere near getting rich from this scheme!
