What are the thoughts from everybody for the quickest way to get your website indexed by Google?

Best way is create as much links as possible.So that when google crawl those sites it will get urs and will be indexed..

Have a signature links in some of the forums which are getting a lot of traffic and your site will be crawled very easily.

It took ages to get our first site indexed

the second one was indexed and a PR1 within a month.

Linking to sites with no PR will make the indexing process very slow.

The higher the PR that links to your site the quicker you get indexed.

The more links you have to your site the quicker you get indexed.

If you have more than one site, use your establihed sites to contain a link on every page of the this site to your new site, do not link back from your newsite for a few weeks.

Have a site map, and submit the site maps to the major search engines, on a regular basis.

Have to keep going, remember to remove links from sites that are no longer active, having dead links may affect your chances, also check that sites linking to you are not banned by the major search engines.

Postings in highly crawled Forums with signature links have worked for me really well. I got my site indexed sometimes within 2-3 days.

The fastest way to indexed by Google is inbound link through directory submissions, forum posting and Social Book Markings.

gather some links from quality sites (preferably those that are already indexed/ has been live for quite some time)

The fastest I have found is to add Google analytics to all pages on your website. Then Google has a webmaster tools area where you can submit your site map and Google crawls your site within a couple days. These two things combined with all the mentioned above will help you get the site going pretty quickly.

Have your site indexed to around 20 social bookmarking sites. That will help you a lot.

I use a blog to get new pages indexed in Google quickly. I have a blog about my internet business. When I add new products or information, I blog about it and add links back to those new pages. Then I ping the blog in technorati. New Pages get indexed within days.

The key is using technorati to ping the updated content of the blog. Google visits there often and reindexes the information.

I set up a Google alert to email me anytime it reindexes my blog, which is usually the same day.

How does it help? Well, it helps build inbound links as just a small *part* of the whole SEO thing!
