In terms of link on both, of course links on blog is better than a directory link, then in terms of promoting i prefer a blog.

I voted for DIRECTORY.. Submitting to directories and be able to be accepted will give your site all the benefits it can have like having its keywords optimized, traffic for the site and of course, backlinks...

Well, blog submission is also important but we are talking about priorities here... So I think we must prioritize Site Directory Submission first.

for me directory is more better than blogs...

all of the links that you submit are directly go to your site and will give you traffic I THINK

It purely depends on what you are good at ... If you can manage blog well then its best otherwise go for directory ... For me both are good

Blog technically is easier to create unlike the technicality of website coding,, And i think as from a web designer's opinion,, blog is just a baby in comparison to websites...

Are you referring to blog and directory submissions?
Both are important as long as you are submitting your site to relevant directories

I'd go for blogs because other than it is more interactive a good link from a blog will take you places whereas a link from a directory might fall short to becoming a link farm.
