Maybe you could also try other linking patterns beside only the directory links.

my website is also getting links from related websites....there are 4 7pr backlinks 1.5 yrs old....

Competition for those keywords are pretty strong. Are you sure you aren't ranking at all even if you're ranking in the 100+ position? Do you rank in some long tail keywords?

I agree with VladTepes to fix your on-page optimization and stuff it with your keywords. Try to match the keyword density of your competitors.

Also, the anchor text for your back links, does it use your keywords and not just the name of your site?

obvious my keywords have sitename prefixed
keywords and anchor text are same

I know competition is tough but site is pr6 ...serps were on 1-10 for all keywords two months ago.

sites ranking on the first page doesn't have more than PR5
