Minimize the amount of pages it takes to order.. combine signup pages, etc. The buyer wants to finish the order not wait for it to start.

On sign up success pages, advertise a product. One of your products (a hot new item ) should be displayed in full detail.

Build community. As your site grows you will notice routine visitors. (some of my stores have up to 80% repeat traffic. ) These people are who you want around, they love to shop online. Build a forum, a weblog, chat box, something to create community!

If you can accept a portion a your sale going off to an affiliate, I suggest running an affiliate program. These programs can really increase sales, link popularity, and a whole sleu of other things

Write a Newsletter.. Talk about your products, incorperate them into stories. How your product helps its buyers BE VERY INFORMATIVE.

Since links are still the determining factors in websites rankings, having a useful website containing good points is nice since there is the chance of having links from other webmasters.

You may offer some freebies or free service so visitors will be encouraged to visit and even better a potential customer!

Yeah, combining pages is quite a good idea. I believe this has been the trend lately. It is just too much of a hassle to click a link for the sign-in page and then wait for that page to load.

Don't forget that google always updates and there are different techniques depending on the target keywords! Some a good site analysis may vary upon the result!
