It is good basis that you will come by first 10 but there is not any guarantee that it will happen.
You need to start with usually SEO works that include On-site and Off-site optimization and then work and work and have patience to see your site by first 10.

Indeed, study SEO and target the keyword "green apples" then you'll be done! btw if it is a highly competitive keyword, then it will be a bit harder for you to rank for that keyword!

I my own knowlegde you have an advantage on that targeted keyword same as your domain but still it depends on how you optimize your site.

yes of course if you do SE optimization for that keyword. You only have to beat 841,000 competitors for that term so I believe you can take the #1 spot if you work on it.

it's possible to come out at search results as long as you'll optimize your site and Kws with the possible KW combinations you want to target.

Its all depends on the popularity of that keyword. If it is competitive then not possible to see it in the first second page. You have to do some off-page optimization to increase its ranking.

Sure you can. But just having the domain name will not help. You will have to optimize the site. Some of the things you can do:
1. On Page: Metas, Alt Tags, Keyword Integration in Content, Check for Bad or Broken links on website, Proper interlinking with internal pages of the website
2. Off Page: One way and Resiprocal Link Building, Use of Blogs and Forums for increasing traffic.

I hope this helps!

as long as you'll put those words in your web page and some important parts like title, header, anchor text links, etc. then it can come up at search results
