1. Stay/Accommodation:
This is the primary element of any wedding that can eat upto 50% of total budget especially when you paying for everyone stay, if not you might still be paying for stay of close family and relatives. Most of the 5* or 5* Deluxe resorts located on beach such as Taj Exotica, Leela, Hyatt Zuri have inventory of 150 rooms on an average but most of the rooms are pre booked by travel agent or charter holiday maker who travel in groups.
If you want to calculate your budget for Accommodation, it can be taken out with this simple formula:
Number of Rooms X Number of Nights X Budget = Cost/budget of stay (approx).
2. Venue, Food & Drinks:
Food and drinks are second largest component. Most of the 5* resorts offer outdoor or indoor venues, however if required these resorts also provide independent venues that is also available in different setting like sea facing lawns, semi private beach or indoor banqueting halls.
Depending upon the Resort and menu, Gala Lunch/ Dinner costs upto Rs 750 to Rs 3500 per person. Regular buffet meals offer by different resort will be between Rs 750 to 2500 per person.
3. Venue Setup and Decoration:
This element typically includes setting up venue, Mandap, floral decoration and arrangements, stages and backdrops, illumination & ambiance lighting, welcome entrances, Table decoration, Props, Table linens & runners and most of the other stuff related to it.
Before contacting Wedding Planner in Goa or decorator, try to research about the style and scale of décor you are visualizing. This will ensure that you are on same page while discussing budget and costs. Here, Wedding Planners work with local decorators and florists to deliver what you are looking for by giving you ideas based on your preferences and taste.
Normally, this component will typically cost you anywhere from Rs 4, 50,000 to Rs 6, 50,000 for wedding day and Rs. 3, 50,000 onwards for pre/post wedding events.
4. Photography/Video:
Without photographer, beach wedding is incomplete and that’s why more and more couples are opting for fresh approach of Candid photography and wedding Cinematography. Hiring photographer at Rs 1, 00,000 to 2, 50,000 per day is pretty much standard rate these days to cover all the stills & video of your wedding.
