Google bombing is when you try to influence the search results by bombing google with a bunch of links and anchor text for a search term. Anchor text of links influences the results.

For instance, if you type "click here" in Google, you will find the Adobe Reader download is the top listing, because millions of sites have "click here" as the anchor text to a link that takes you to the adobe reader download page.

Google adjusted the algo awhile back to decrease the effect of this.
